Do You Need a Visa to Visit Uganda?

Yes, most visitors must obtain a visa before travelling to Uganda and are required to use the official online e-Visa system. There are visa-exempt nationalities, mainly from regional partner states, but all other travellers need to apply online

Visa-Free Entry

Citizens of some countries including Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi, South Sudan, Angola, Barbados, Belize, Fiji, Gambia, Jamaica, Malta, Singapore, and others may enter Uganda without a visa for up to 3 months.
