5 Days Budget Game & Gorilla Tour of Uganda
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport in the morning, where you will be welcomed by your safari guide. After completing immigration formalities, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda. Along the way, stop briefly at the Equator for photos. Arrive at your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation: Buffalo Safari Lodge Meals: Lunch, DinnerStart the day early with a hike through Kyambura Gorge in search of chimpanzees and other primates. Spend about 1 hour observing the chimps, then return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you can see hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. The cruise offers excellent photography opportunities. Accommodation: Buffalo Safari Lodge Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerAfter breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the mountain gorillas. On the way, pass through the Ishasha sector for a game drive to spot tree-climbing lions. Continue through the Kigezi highlands and check in at your lodge in Bwindi in the evening. Accommodation: Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerBegin your gorilla trek in the early morning. Receive a briefing at the park offices, then hike into the forest with an experienced ranger to find your assigned gorilla family. Spend 1 hour observing and photographing the gorillas. After trekking, return to your lodge to refresh, then drive to Lake Bunyonyi for overnight stay. Accommodation: Bunyonyi Rock Resort Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerLeave Lake Bunyonyi in the morning and drive back to Entebbe with stops for lunch and photography.
